Removable denture

To get rid of the removable denture ...

For the majority of us there will be time or just such moment that, unfortunately, missing teeth (partial or total) are / will be so significant that you will have start thinking about completing them. Then the basic and the simplest way out will the removable prosthesis, refunded by Health Service in your country. We decide on taking this solution, because we think it will be something, after all others wear it and somehow live (exist)... After many visits in the dental office, impressions, trimmings, corrections the day of your work that is ready, arrives... you get your new teeth... Some people get used to the new prosthesis and they "live" somehow, others will never accept it... Some are ashamed and fear that the prosthesis can fall out or move, others are not satisfied with the aesthetic effect (removable dentures, unfortunately, do not imitate 100% natural teeth, it is often easy to notice that someone wears a prosthesis). In many patients, the prosthesis removed from the artificial palate causes the gag reflex, it is also difficult for them to bite harder foods. Simply speaking, a removable denture is a solution that only few are able to accept and only few will feel satisfied with it. An additional downside associated with having a removable prosthesis is the irreversible disappearance of the bone tissue within the jaw and mandible. With time, some of you, rightly, are slowly starting to think about changing the removable denture. Another solution ... How to do it? What to do? What are our perspectives?

If you have a removable prosthesis and you are not satisfied with the current conditions, quality of life, your smile, you can change it! It's never too late for a change! But in the case of teeth the faster the better! Your quality of life can be significantly improved. You can get rid of the artificial palate, bite calmly, smile broadly without worrying that others will notice that you wear a prosthesis! We mentioned that the sooner you decide to change the removable prosthesis to a different solution, the better, and for good reason. People who have lost their teeth and wear a removable prosthesis are exposed to bone atrophy within the jaw and mandible, because the lack of dental roots means no stimulation of bone tissue, which begins to irreversibly disappear, which is definitely a disadvantage. This means that the later you decide on a different solution, the more difficult it will be to implant implants due to the smaller and smaller amount of bones. However, it is never too late, even with a very large loss of bone tissue, there are always solutions that can help. These include, for example, sinus lift (sinus lift), bone augmentation or the use of biomaterial. Sometimes it's worth taking one step further, spending a little more time in order to enjoy a new, better solution.

If you wear a removable denture and want to change it, improve the quality of your life, we propose two, currently the best, possibilities:

1. The latest solution, which is very popular abroad - a prosthesis permanently screwed to implants - Toronto Bridge or

2. A solution slightly older, but also very popular - porcelain bridges on implants.

The Toronto Bridge prosthesis is a novelty (used for several years in Poland), which not everyone has heard about. This solution is created mainly for patients who struggle with the loss of bone tissue and for those who want to regain a beautiful smile as soon as possible. The method used to implant the implants on which the prosthesis will be attached is called All on 4 . Its innovation lies in the fact that implants are implanted in places where the the most of bone remained in the jaw and mandible. Not all implants must be implanted axially - at right angles to the dental arch, some of them can be implanted at a different angle, which gives the implantologist a large margin of maneuver to find the best bone tissue. The possibility of such implants allows the use of the All on 4 method on patients with high bone loss. Toronto Bridge is a very light prosthesis, which in many cases makes it possible to implanting the prosthesis to the patient right after implantation! (up to 72 h). The Toronto Bridge prosthesis is screwed to the implants, so it is a permanent solution, without the possibility of being removed by the patient, there is also no fear that the prosthesis will move or fall out. It does not have an artificial palate, so it does not cause the gag reflex. The well-made Toronto Bridge prosthesis is characterized by high aesthetics and perfectly imitates natural teeth! Do you want to see what an innovative denture screwed to implants looks like?

Alternative solutions, also based on implants, are porcelain bridges. It is a solution that creates a bridge (mostly 12-14 teeth) from porcelain on metal, zirconium or porcelain foundations and cement this bridge on previously implanted implants. Due to the fact that "teeth made of porcelain" are heavier than the Toronto Bridge prosthesis, the final porcelain bridge, is placed after about 6 months after implantation - after full healing.

Choosing an "implanted" solution will prevent further bone loss and guarantee a great improvement in chewing function.

Both of the above solutions are created for you! YOU ARE NOT SENTENCED FOR REMOVABLE PROSTHESES! THERE ARE OTHER, PERFECT SOLUTIONS that will help you regain a beautiful, natural smile, eat calmly and get rid of shame!
