Warranty & Dentist

In every clinic / cabinet we cooperate with implantologists who use the latest generation of implants, leading global companies, most of which have a lifetime warranty on their products. Each implant has its own "passport" where its serial numbers are stored and these documents are delivered to you after the procedure.

All prostheses and other elements of the work are subject to a guarantee, the length of which the doctor informs the patient (we do not give specific numbers here because different doctors give different services on their warranties).

Important!
The guarantee provided by doctors includes patients who will rigorously adhere to the doctor's recommendations, take care of oral hygiene properly, put on check-up appointments with the doctor, non-smokers and those without additional conditions that may have a significant impact on the performed procedures.

How to care for your teeth after implant surgery?

Even children know that regular brushing is the basic principle of hygiene and prevents the accumulation and multiplication of bacteria and removes leftovers that remain "in the mouth" after meals.

However, if we have artificial teeth, then we do not have to take care of them anymore? They are not threatened with caries, they will not break ...

Many people (surprisingly!) think that if they have implants and teeth made of porcelain-acrylic or composite, they do not have to take care of them... nothing more wrong and fatal in consequences!

What is the risk of insufficient oral hygiene or lack of it? THE LOSS OF IMPLANTS, but also inflammation, bad smell from the mouth and the need to repeat the treatment (which generates large additional costs and extends the duration of treatment).
Bad hygiene immediately after implantation leads to the appearance of inflammation around the implant, which will not integrate well with the bone. The process of integrating the implant into the bone is disturbed or it becomes completely impossible, so that after some time, bluntly speaking, implants will only be suitable for ejection ...
It should be remembered that implantation, although small, is always a surgical procedure and its success depends in majority on our behaviour after the procedure.

So how to take care of hygiene in order to enjoy the new smile as long as possible?

Immediately after the treatment a patient should refrain from smoking and rigorously follow the physician's recommendations regarding hygiene (here the tips should be given by the implantologist, immediately after the procedure, what must be done in the first hours, days or weeks after implantation, and what should not be absolutely allowed).

After a few months, when we become the owners of the "new smile", you should continue brushing your teeth at least twice a day, preferably after each meal. Although the implants have well integrated into the bone, we are still exposed to inflammation that negatively affects the maintenance of implants and dentures in the oral cavity. For hygiene, it is best to use a dental irrigator (you can add a mouthwash to the water). After each such cleaning, the mouth should also be rinsed with antiseptic fluid (if it has not been added to the water before cleaning). It would be great if the "holders" of implants completely quit smoking... A very important aspect is also regular checks in the dentist's office after the procedure during which the doctor will carry out full hygienization and check the oral cavity. If the patient has solution that is screwed to the implants, the doctor can unscrew the denture and clean the spaces underneath. Remember that regular inspections should be continued, even if the surgery has been over a few years and "nothing serious is happening". This article is for illustration only, therefore please remember that you should always follow the recommendations of the attending physician.
